I will take care of that troublesome clicking sound, the squealing, rattling, or whatever else it is that might have you concerned. You need a timing belt or a tune-up? I can do that. You need brakes or suspension work? I can do that. You have a misfire or your car just doesn’t seem to drive the way it used to? I can fix that. Give me a call, I’ll fix your problem for a fraction of what the dealer would charge. Call me. Talk to me about the problem you are experiencing. I am mobile, so if you can’t come to me, I will come to you (depending on the severity of the job and distance from my place). Just please have a safe place for me to work. (I prefer not to work in the street, on grassy hills, or next to flimsy badger cages)

I don’t know what’s wrong with my car. What can I do?

Or, you can scroll down to the bottom of this page and contact me via email.  I try to answer every call, but sometimes I cant. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! My hours are Mon-Fri 9-5 Sat 9-1 closed Sunday.

Can I provide my own parts?

I prefer my customers provide their own parts.  That way you know exactly what you are getting.  And, you know I’m not marking them up.  If you need help finding the correct part for your vehicle I am more than happy to help.

 

PAYMENT

How do I pay for the service?

Cash is king.  I also accept Venmo, Paypal, and credit cards, however I need to charge 5% more for those payment methods.

Can I pay by check?

Currently only accepting business checks.

I have over 9 years experience as a line technician at dealerships and independent service shops. I have been ASE Certified. I have specialized training and experience with Audi, Lexus, Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes Benz. I also have years of experience working on all other imports and domestic vehicles.

At My Denver Mechanic, we are focused on providing automotive repair services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction & we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. What I can do

Services

Timing Belt

Timing belts should be replaced at or before the manufacturers recommended mileage interval.  Severe engine damage can result if the belt fails.

Water Pump

A coolant leak can be an indication of a failing water pump or other issues that should be addressed before they result in your vehicle overheating.

Brakes

If you are experiencing squealing or grinding while braking, call today!

Struts/shocks

Worn shocks/struts will affect your vehicles handling and can cause uneven or premature tire wear.

CV Axles

A failing CV axle can cause a knocking sound when turning, and vibration upon acceleration.  A bad CV axle will also cause premature failure of your wheel bearings.

* I prefer not to do engine swaps, clutches, & head gaskets. Oil changes I will do as a part of another service, but it’s not economical to do on its own as a mobile service.

What is MyMechanic?

I am a professional mechanic with over twenty years experience.  I can diagnose and repair your vehicle for less than you would pay at a shop.

How does it work?

Call 720-232-6980, text or email to request a quote.  Provide your vehicle information and the location where you would like the work performed.

Can a mechanic really fix my car at my location?

Yes! I carry diagnostic scanners and all tools required to get you back on the road.

What type of services can mobile mechanics provide?

Timing belts, drive belts, sensors, bulbs, wiring, diagnostic, brakes, suspension, interior, window regulators, door handles, electrical diagnosis, switches, etc.  If in doubt, call! 720-232-6980

Do you have a shop where I can bring my car?

I will repair your vehicle at your home or office. I do not have a shop, but if your property management frowns upon work being done at your property, I’m more than happy to repair it at mine.

Which cities do you serve?

Denver and the surrounding metro area.

Do you do warranty work or collision damage repair?

I currently do not work with OEM and do not offer any OE warranty services. I also do not provide any collision related repairs.

What are your hours?

How is the price calculated?

I give fixed labor costs using a third party estimator. Whether the job takes more or less time than expected, you pay a fixed price.

What is your hourly rate?

I don’t charge by the hour.  I provide an up-front estimate on labor and will never go above that.

Is it more expensive than going to shops and dealers?

Because my overhead is minimal I am able to pass those savings along to you.

Is there an additional fee for the mechanic to come to my location?

Depending on location of work performed I will charge a small travel fee.

Am I supposed to tip the mechanic?

I never expect a tip, but I wouldn’t turn one down!

What if mechanic finds that my car needs more or less services than I had requested?

I will never replace a part that does not need to be replaced. If I find your vehicle needs additional work I will discuss it with you at that time.

Is there a fee for a mechanic to diagnose my car?

No charge for diagnoses, EVER! There may be a small travel fee depending on location.

  • Dan replaced the timing belt/water pump and drive belts on a 96 vw passat last year quickly and very reasonably priced labor. Did a Great job. Yesterday he had a light day: Replaced timing belt, water pump, drive belts and front brakes on a 2001 Lexus Rx300; Replaced timing belt, water pump and drive belts on a 2002 Toyota Highlander; and Front brake pads on a 1996 Ford F150 4wd. Only took him 7 hours, but, I caught him smoking a couple of times. Smokin’ is the deal you get and the quality of Service. Highly recommended if you need it done quickly and without having to take out a small loan!
